Residence Assistance Team

Assistant

Don (AD)

The Assistant Don does everything a Residence Assistant does and more. They help communicate things from the Dons to the rest of the house and by leading the whole RA team. They usually have one or two years experience with being an RA or involved with house positions. The AD is on same schedule as the RA's, though their door is always open.  The AD is Windsor's connection to our Dons and student life within Residence. They are here to help with your home experience within Windsor.

Residence

Assistants

(RA)

A Residence Assistant (RA) is always here to help you! There is at least one located on each floor of Windsor. If you're feeling homesick, pressure in school, pressure from classmate or professors, need someone to just listen to what you're thinking or just want to talk to someone, the RA's are always there to talk. They have at least one year under their belt as an MTA student so they have probably been in the same position or situation that you're in. Each RA is on a schedule to be on duty during the weekends and have their doors open for whenever you need help in anyway.

Assistant Don: Katie

Hello Windsor, my name is Katie Stewart, and I am your Assistant Don for the 2021-2022 school year! I am a second-year student from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia studying a Bachelor of Science with a major in Biology and a minor in Biochemistry! When I am not studying you can usually find me in Waterfowl, hanging out with friends or at dance practice (I am part of the MTA dance team!). This year I am living on the second floor in room 234! My door is always open except for when I close it to have my own dance party lol, but please feel free to stop by anytime, I love visitors! – you may just have to knock a little louder so I can hear you through the headphones I listen to way to loud! I know sometimes the RA team may sound scary but we’re all incredibly approachable and want to be friends! I can’t wait to meet you all and look

forward to a great year ahead! WINDSOR! WINDSOR! WINDSOR! OI! OI! OI!

If you ever have any questions about Sackville or Mount Allison feel free to reach out. I am living on the first floor for the second year in a row this year! Feel free to stop by at any time, I LOVE visitors and my door is ALWAYS open! I am in sciences, majoring in Biology hoping to become a pharmacist in the near future. I love watching TV shows, I binge watch everything, I love hanging out with friends and playing sports. I am so excited for this upcoming year, Windsor is where I met some of my best friends and feels just like home and I hope the same for all of you. Let’s make the most of this year WIndsorites! 2nd Floor RA: Eli

Hello Windsor ! My name is Eli Vandenberg and I'll be the second floor RA this year! I'm a second-year student from Riverview, New Brunswick, and I'm studying Math and Computer Science with a minor (maybe) in English! Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a pretty huge nerd who gets way too excited about school, and you can pretty much always find me in my room (210) studying, or in the second floor lounge downing my twelfth cup of coffee of the day. As such, I spent my summer doing research for the math department! Outside of school, I love taking care of my (many) plants and going for runs / doing yoga, as well as hanging out with my friends. Windsor is really like a second home to me, so I'm super excited to be your RA for 2021 - 2022 (and on the best floor, too)! Myself and the rest of the Windsor team can't wait to get to know you guys and help make this year the best one yet! See you all in September!

3rd Floor RA: Rin

I love listening to country music and going to cafes. Yes! Sackville has a lot of cute cafes but my favourite is Black Duck Cafe! Definitely you should check it out! If you have any questions, or want to chat, please stop in room 327. My door is always open! I can’t wait to see you all and to have an awesome year together!
